A group of Area 9 Instructors went out for dinner together today.
Zul'nain, Zul'fli, Azrul, Raudah, Rasidah, Khairul, Wiwit, Hermann, K Lai, Miao Sheng, Jeremy, Rayyan and myself.
We went to eat at Mak's Place - the hawkerant - near Kembangan MRT...opposite Hotel 81...
Initially the plan was to book the place so that we can guarantee a place for us...but things turned out otherwise when I was informed that no more bookings are accepted...
"NOO....!!!" I thought.
Hence the numerous exchange of phone calls between Azrul - Rayyan - myself to decide on a contingency plan. Well, after dialing and answering calls, the contingency plan is to...still eat at Mak's Place.
BUT! We still have to come up with an inclement weather plan because the dark skies were looming above us. And no! Not because it is evening time...duh! It is because it's going to rain! This turn out to be like planning for a lesson - objective, manpower, logisitcs,
INCLEMENT WEATHER, etc!
Using our 'oh!-so-experienced' skills, we came hypothesise that it won't rain...pray to God! Lolz! And fortunately for us, our hypothesis was proven true.
I really find such gatherings helpful and fun. I mean, it is a platform of more not-so-formal/informal communication where in and out of NPCC topics can be discussed. Personally I find it healthy and would like to have such with other groups of friends or NPCC members.
Well, only time...and money, will tell whether that can be a possibility.
My friends in Area 9...you rock!
