PK Course - 7 to 8 September 2006
Area 10 ATC - 8 to 10 September 2006
7 September 2006Ended lessons at 1230hrs on Thursday. I headed straight to Changkat Changi Secondary where my Area was having it's Day 1 of PK Course.
I was in my PT Tracks though. Didn't bring my Full U along as I wasn't there for duty. I was just there to see how's things are going on and also to see my NCOs.
8 September 2006Had tuition from 1130 - 1300. I went there with my backpack filled with my attire for ATC.
Headed to Changkat Changi Secondary for the Day 2 of PK Course.
Nothing much happened. No complaints about my unit...but maybe that's because I didn't ask for any feedback about them. Let me keep my positive outlook first.
Looking forward to see all my NCOs on the 15th.
Area 10 ATCMy role was to be a Lifesaver during Kayaking.
Headed to Changi with my fellow Area 9 CI Hermann before we headed into Campsite.
Once reached campsite I was helping out with the Tunneling activity.
Such an easy activity...yet I forgotten what to brief the campers and had to be refreshed by Diyar. I got to start conducting more ATF activities during ATCs manz...
I met 3 other of my CIBTC batchmates during the ATC - Weibin, Jennifer and Shuyu (all are HOs). I feel it is really very nice for fellow batchmates to meet again and catch up with lost time...especially after 5 years apart.
Well, it is not only the 60th Batch uniting...there was also a pair of 52nd Batch (D96) of CIs getting together again - Level 3 Coach Lee Wil-son and TO Leonard Kok. I am no sure what's the word to use...but it was quite a sight to see the two of them conducting the kayaking activity together.
I left before campfire because I had schoolwork to complete.
Thank you, Shuyu for being hospitable during my period of stay at Area 10 ATC. It was much appreciated.
Point of Reflection 1
Holding a grudge for too long might mean...
a. we are very petty
b. we can't accept reality ie. delusional
I have to constantly remind myself on that so as not to do the same mistake.

Simply put it, there is nothing in this world that you can't say something good about it. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder...let your eyes see beyond the physical beauty of that certain something...unless you want to more miserably.
