I've thought about it...I've thought about it for quite long now and I think I've decided.
It is about time I get back to my roots.
It has been about 4 years since I actively stepped back to my alma-mater - Saint Hilda's. I've left that unit in search of more wisdom in the world outside.
Within that 4 years, I have tried to explore the NPCC life outside my unit and it opened up my eyes to a whole new dimension. Like my good friend, CI Haojun mentioned, I am the frog who "have stepped out of the well". I gain more knowledge, more ideas, more friends and/but sometimes more than what I ask for...
However, I think I stepped outside too long for my own good. While my belief, knowledge and confidence is now better, I think my purpose have somewhat shaken and I need to rehabilitate back to where I came from...Saint Hilda's.
Saint Hilda's NPCC Unit was where I lived a challenging life as a cadet. It was the one that humbled me, strengthened me, and gave me the kind of friends I'll treasure a lifetime.
It is not going to be easy to integrate back into my unit system, if there exists any in the first place. But I have a vision for it...and I hope with that vision, I'm able to put my words into action and make it a reality.
I have so much I would like to share with my cadets...I have so much that I want to pass on to them...there's so much I want to teach...there's so much I want them to learn...
but there is only so much that one can do.
I must be realistic - no Man is an island...
NO CI IS A UNIT. In order to succeed, it is with the help of my cadets, my fellow CI counterparts, my Officers...and definitely the school itself.
if God's willing, the Unit will be back on track.
